Alberto Garzás Villar

Alberto is a Ph.D. candidate with a mechanical engineering background. His specialization in biomedical engineering led him to develop a keen interest in the application of robotics and haptic technology to health and rehabilitation.

Alberto's research focuses on patients with brain conditions like stroke. He strongly believes that patient characteristics, including their psychology and social environment, can significantly affect their recovery therapies. Consequently, he aims to understand the impact of patient diversity on the effectiveness of robotic motor learning.

By leveraging the insights gained from his research, he aims to advance the field of personalized therapies.
