Sonal is a Postdoctoral Researcher with a background in Brain Computer Interface for Rehabilitation.
Her research focus during her PhD was on factors that can help bring Motor Imagery-based BCI systems outside the laboratories for Rehabilitation and Activities of Daily Living(ADL). These include evaluation of mediums of training, Signal Processing and Machine/Deep Learning, evaluation of interfaces, game-based rehabilitation, and development of Unity-based interactive games based on BCI systems for Spinal Cord Injury Patients.
Currently, her research focuses on interactive game-based rehabilitation, Human Performance, and Human Machine Interaction.
