Beatrice is a postdoctoral researcher with a background in robotics for the rehabilitation and assistance of individuals with neurological conditions.
Her work has primarily focused on upper-limb rehabilitation exoskeletons, developing control strategies and therapist-in-the-loop approaches to enhance the usability and effectiveness of these technologies.
Currently, her research explores therapy personalisation by integrating artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and robotics to deliver therapy adaptations that are reliable, explainable, and easy to interpret for both patients and therapists.
