Eduardo Villar Ortega

Eduardo Villar Ortega is a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering. He has an enthusiasm for robotics, neuromodulation, and psychometrics.

His research interests are on combining robotic training with sensory rehabilitation. He combines haptic rendering (e.g., texture rendering) and sensory electrical stimulation to boost somatosensory function in patients after brain injury, targeting those who suffer from sensory loss.
