Dr. Stefano Dalla Gasperina

Stefano Dalla Gasperina is a biomedical roboticist and engineer.
During his Ph.D., his research focused on patient-cooperative control algorithms for upper-limb exoskeletons and on the integration of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) on rehabilitation robots.

His work now focuses on combining haptic devices for neurorehabilitation with immersive virtual reality (VR) to improve user motivation and engagement during rehabilitation treatment.

His mission is to explore new research fields integrating high-technology and human factors, aiming to improve the user experience and bridge the gap between people's needs and available technology.
